The Lads rock! When we first came to faith around 1999, The Lads were at their peak. You could always guarantee a high-emergy, fun live show, with quirky songs, and some strange on-stage activities. The band pitched itself very much at the youth market, and was hugely effective in communicating the gospel.
Most of the original members have moved on these days, but Mark Millard is still on the road in the USA, where the band is based now. This video shows what we reckon was the best Lads line-up, with one of the band's best-known songs, Creator. We just love the chorus, which really cuts to how amazing our God is:
My best friend's the Creator of the Universe
Although He's bigger than the Milky Way
He wants to know about my life today
Enjoy!

Good God, that was absolutely horrendous! What a great find. I think it's turned me off christianity for ever. Thanks for sharing!
I have to agree with Anon above, that really was desperately unoriginal punk-pop-by-numbers "lite". It does seem to me that the originality bar is set quite low for these bands...makes one wonder why, if there is a god, he gives all the talent to the likes of Hendrix - does the devil have a better talent scout?
Only teasing Inv, at least they have something of an excuse with the small market they faithfully (intended) provide music for...what Nickleback's excuse is, I just don't know!
