We can't help but wonder...

So; Petra Bagust has announced that she will be leaving TVNZ's Breakfast programme at the end of the year; here's the announcement from earlier this morning.

So we can't help but wonder; might Rawdon Christie also be facing the chop as TVNZ looks to freshen up its morning offering? And might this clear the way for the return of a Paul Henry and Pippa Wetzell?

Wouldn't it be great to see scenes like this again?

Hmmm - such interest in a minor celebrity (such as the category exists in our little society). Could this be displacement in action, I wonder?

I don't know Robert; it could be nothing more than interest in a minor celebrity!

You have an interest in a minor celebrity?

Why?

Keeping Stock said...

@ Lynn - why not? It's a free world you know, and we don't have to be told what to like or what to think.

"Why not?" is not an answer to "why?"

It's an evasion.
Are you channeling John key?

Have you ever heard of free will Lynn? I know it's a foreign concept to some, but you should try it; it's totally liberating!

I don't agree with everything that Paul Henry says or does, but he has been a breath of fresh air for NZ television.

PS: I also like cricket Lynn

I thought the 'minor celebrity' was Petra Bagust. Discussing her is not worthwhile, even as 'displacement'. You might as well post on a fictitious character, such as
Pinocchio.

Damn! I should have said, "Jimminy Cricket"!!
