Over at Homepaddock, Ele tells an interesting story of something found in the back country; specifically this:
In a week when the Leader of the Opposition (for now) has boasted about Labour having sources within the government spy bureau, this raises more questions about the neutrality of the public service. But it also demonstrates that there are political activists who pull stunts which make the public service as a whole appear less politically neutral that it actually is.
But one has to wonder; who would pull a stunt like this?

good grief .. what a shocker .. another "public servant" about to get their arse kicked (na, they will get away with it, man child Gareth Hughes will back them up).
Probably the same idiot who made the Helen Clark/Mugabe billboards.
A half-wit right there.
t Eddie, my personal favorite http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0311/S00069.htm. The Greens clearly also suffer from memory loss
@ Edward; have you forgotten that you're on a two-week holiday? See you on the 27th.
@ Glen Owen - this post has NOTHING to do with Owen Glenn (thank goodness!); please stick to the subject
John Key, a dork?
Bbbbut...he has a lovely smile! A bit dorky, yes, but lovely!
Who would pull a stunt like this?
Stephen Joyce?
Judith Collins?
Key is a dork, well, according to me anyway. He did say this “I go out there and speak and entertain thousands and thousands of people every week.” and you would have to be a dork of a prime minister to say think that you are entertaining thousands and thousands of people every week. Entertaining? That's not what a prime minister does. NZ has so many challenges and problems and dorky John Key imagines himself to be out there entertaining us? Who does he imagine he is - 'Elton' John?
A stunt indeed...some would say even cunning. But one thing's for sure with the female demographic that works for DOC we can be sure it wasn't done by a stunning &*nt
Pulling stunts like this is known as "greenflying".
The term apparently sources back to impersonatation activity on Kiwiblog, when some dork commented using the name of the blog host.
What nonsense!
It's impossible to comment on Kiwiblog, using the hosts name.
You've not done your research, your memory is poor, you're making it up.
You're 'John Keying' it!
Actually, it is possible to impersonate DPF (in cyberspace at least), but you'd have to be a Village Idiot to want to do it...

Only a village idiot could pass himself off as Farrar?
Is that what you're implying, KS?
Thanks for that link, KS.
The Details Man could have a look if his name is worth anything.
His Shearer impression, making statements before ascertaining the facts, is very good. Same outcome too, as the link establishes.
Not likely to be any apologies for being in error either, I suspect.
Honour is not what it used to be.
Who could Details Man be?
Details, shmetails...who cares? This post is about a sign that calls Key a dork. We must find out who did that terrible thing!
I thought that Heather Sochlean at 11:50am

had included an "f" in error, but KS's link shows she was correct, although without the "f" is logical enough.
Well, we can be certain it wasn't a Green party supporter - there is no promoter statement for this political message. And we all know how much they like to ensure everyone complies with electoral law...

So you're not applying this rule, Keeping Stock?
"We have a low tolerance for abusive comments and for trolling and/or attempts to take threads off-topic. Feel free to criticise the substance of what we have written, provided your criticism is intelligent and constructive. But abuse us or other commenters at the risk of us simply deleting your comment without warning; it's called editorial licence."
Some of your commenters here are attacking 'greenfly', who's not the subject of your thread, yet you seem to be condoning, certainly turning a blind-eye to, that.
Is it hypocrisy, or did you just 'John Key' your rule, that is, 'forget'?
@ A Fidd (greenfly by a different name?)
Protesting a little much?
Who are the "some of your commentators" who are attacking this greenfly you seek to defend?
And how have they done so?
(Details Man is missing in action too)
A.Fidd has sensed the flyspray and is missing in action too.
